Overview
Have you ever been curious about the vast artistic world? Explore ArtKive, an interactive art discovery app that allows users to easily identify any artworks, and learn more about the fine arts world. It makes information on artworks easy and accessible for all, users can upload or take a picture of the artwork to gain more information such as artist name, medium, location, and more. For further convenience, users can also book museum tours, preview tours, participate in artistic discussion and community art challenges.
Research
This app was created to inform an audience about artworks that captured their interest but aren’t able to identify the name or artist. Other apps were referenced to design innovative layouts such as an artist's progressive timeline, artwork rating system, and ability to book a tour. The color blue was specifically chosen to encourage imagination and provide freedom to express oneself.
